CNG Stations Closed in NWFP

PESHAWAR: The CNG stations all across Peshawar province including provincial capital Peshawar Sunday have been shut down in pursuance of two-day weekly closure basis while the citizens are compelled to undergo trouble over the decision, Geo news reported. According to details, all CNG stations will suspend sale of gas on Monday as per plan aimed at saving gas consumption. The consumers are forced to opt petrol being fuel for their vehicles due to unavailability of gas but are being badly hit financially.





Moreover, the rickshaw and taxi drivers have also surged their fares meanwhile, Sui Northern Gas Company (SNGC) officials warned against strict actions over violation of gas consumption plan.


They said the forces' teams have been formed in Peshawar, Charsadda, Noserah and Mardan, which will carry out crackdowns and raids to determine the culprits violating the consumption plan.


Domestic consumers have also complained against low gas pressure even on Sunday and Monday � days observing consumption plan, sources said.
